Bio

I’m a Finnish photographer based between Germany and Finland, working on documentary, editorial, and commercial photography projects. My work often focuses on people and their craft, from artisans and workshops to cultural stories and portraits. I’m a freelance contributor to Helsingin Sanomat, covering stories from Germany, including current events, features, and interviews.

Alongside still photography, I also shoot and edit video, focusing on people and their work. I studied photography in Finland and earned a degree in Contemporary Photographic Arts from the University for the Creative Arts in the UK.

Before becoming a full-time freelance photographer, I worked for over four years at Zalando as a product photographer and retoucher, followed by a creative role at Carhartt Work in Progress in Berlin, where I photographed collections and developed a deeper understanding of workwear and design culture. More recently, I spent two years as a food photographer at HelloFresh, refining my approach to lighting, texture, and timing in food imagery.

Today, my photography focuses mainly on documenting craftspeople such as tailors, shoemakers, and weavers, and the environments they work in. I’m also the co-founder of Der Feine Herr, an online magazine dedicated to bespoke menswear and craftsmanship.

In addition to this focus on craft and culture, I regularly photograph classical music concerts and other cultural events across Europe. I enjoy working on diverse projects that tell visual stories through people, places, and the work they create.

My photographs have appeared in VOGUE Germany, Helsingin Sanomat, Architectural Digest Germany, Kodin Kuvalehti, Deko, TWEED Magazine, Antiikki & Design, Koti ja Keittiö, BILD, Berliner Zeitung, and Journalistilehti. Over the years, I’ve collaborated with a wide range of brands, companies, and institutions throughout Europe.
